Miscpix is a free image sharing and hosting site. Use miscpix to share images with friends and family and submit them to popular sites like twitter and reddit. Miscpix is also an entertainment site. Clicking on a picture will provide you with a random image. You can easily spend hours browsing through the thousands of public images in our gallery.

Miscpix is run by redditors so we encourage you to use miscpix to post to reddit. If you find that your post hasn't shown up or doesn't seem to be getting votes, PLEASE message the moderators and alert them. Please do not just delete your post and resubmit it. Doing so WILL trip the reddit spam filter and will likely result in your post remaining hidden.

Miscpix is pronounced 'misc pics'. Clever eh? We try.

The maximum file size you can upload is about 10 megs. Smaller files will display faster so keep that in mind when uploading. Animated gif files tend to upload and display slowly.

The best thing for the site is to share it with your friends. Use miscpix to share images on your favourite forums, twitter, reddit, digg, and facebook. Don't forget to stumble the pics you like too!

Images that have less than 3 views after 1 year are removed. If there are complaints, images may be taken down sooner. So far we haven't had to remove any pictures and we will do our best to keep it that way.

All uploaded images are anonymous however the IP address of the computer used to upload the image is stored. The only reason an image is featured in the gallery is if it's shared all over the internet. Private and NSFW images are allowed, however they are never posted to any miscpix galleries or popular file lists. Your personal or otherwise compromising images will always remain private. We will not show ads for any pictures you upload unless it becomes popular as a result of internet sharing.

We aren't here to embarrass you or expose your secrets. If you upload compromising or clearly personal pictures, we will make sure they stay private.

Anything that violates the miscpix terms of service. Use your judgement when uploading pictures. If it's something that you think your mom wouldn't like it probably doesn't need to be shared with us.

Miscpix is ad supported as unfortunately it costs quite a bit to run an image hosting site. Banner ads will be displayed when you are browsing our gallery, however we will not show ads if you link miscpix from reddit, digg, and facebook. We will also not place ads underneath the pictures you upload and share.

Do not upload copyrighted material, anything that promotes violence, hate, spam, or gore. Do not upload anything that violates the laws of your country, specifically the United States and Canada. Anyone using miscpix to host illegal images, will be reported to the authorities and all content will be deleted. We want to keep things safe and friendly for everyone. We also want to stay out of trouble.

Uploaded images are private and anonymous, however if they are shared on the internet and gain popularity they might be included in our random picture gallery. We will however never share your personal or clearly compromising pictures. We respect your privacy and will not go out of our way to embarrass or harass you. Keep in mind though, if you upload something and it gains popularity it will likely be on the internet somewhere forever.

Hotlinking miscpix images is allowed, however as miscpix is free to use please use this feature sparingly. When hotlinking images, please provide a link back to miscpix if possible. Do not use miscpix to host images for website elements (backgrounds, icons, etc).

You agree to indemnify and hold miscpix harmless from any loss, liability, claim, damage and expense, including attorney fees, arising from or related to the content, use, or deletion of your files or use of any other feature or service. This includes your responsibility for any and all liability arising from the violation or infringement of proprietary rights or copyrights and any defamatory or unlawful material contained within your files.

By accepting these terms, you waive and hold harmless miscpix and all related parties from any claims resulting from any action taken by miscpix during or as a result of its investigations and/or from any actions taken as a consequence of investigations by either miscpix or law enforcement authorities. We do our best to keep the servers up but please be aware there is always a possibility of maintenance that requires downtime. Images may load slowly or not at all during periods of maintenance.
